Dose a cat having a cold wet nose really mean anything?

Some people say that when a cat has a cold wet nose it means that they are feeling good, and when there nose is dry and warm there feeling bad I wounder if there is any truth to this, or are some people mistaken.
What do you think do think that when a cat or dog has a cold wet nose it means something, or do you think that it dosent mean anything?

I think if they have acold wet nose that they just licked it and nothing else.
