I know I talked about remakes, and technically badmouthed them...well, ONE movie *cough* Godzilla *cough* as cute as Matthew Broderick is, I just....*shudders* no, couldn't get into it. But what do I see that be-stills my heart? They're remaking/updating....The Wolf Man!! Stars such as Anthony Hopkins, Hugo Weaving and Benecio Del Torro (who plays said wolfman) will be involved. Saw the trailer....drooled a bit...AND, what's BETTER?? They're keeping it set in the early 19th century era!! So Victorian era clothes, britishy speak! EEEEK! Who else is excited about this??

Anthony Hopkins was born on 31st December 1937 in Margam, Wales. So this is where the Accent is from

indeed he is, he does the accent so well....wait, is he British? American? Really good with accents? Hrm, now that I think of it, all the movies I recall with him, he's had an accent....I'll assume he British then. Good for him. lol Thanks for responding!

Honestly, I never thought the first wolfman movies were that good, heck, the effects on the old Dark Shadows soap were better because they were 20 yrs more recent. So I might actually go just to see the CGI of the transformation.

I loved to watch the old movies, like Dracula, Frankenstein, WolfMan, never had a chance to see the Mummy though. I was amazed at the background of those movies, how Boris Karloff (Frankenstein) had to wear his half done makeup for a day or so because it was just too much work for the make up artists. Just pile it on they said! Of course no one would be "impressed" with the old movies, but they were history in the making, forefathers of the future effects movie! Thanks for responding!

Can't recall ever seeing the movie. I do have a bad memory though . I watched a movie once before and it was almost over before I realized I had already seen it.
