Here are some new virus email subject lines that are being sent around at present: "McCain Dies of a Heart Attack" "Amazing Speech by Obama" "Election Center 2008: Primary Results" "World Welcomes Obama's Win" "Barack Obama in Danger-McCain will fight for President Post" Be careful not to open these.

I would not open anything like this. If it is not on my list nor from my friends, it gets deleted. I do wonder who sent them though. Was it an Obama supporter or someone who wanted to send a message. I mean now I read that Obama is now showing his true colors. Maybe it is a hacker who is an Obama supporter, who figures that those who wanted McCain to win, will open the email.

It's wise not to open emails that are not from trusted sources. Those who created the virus most likely did so anonymously, because it is against the law. It would be difficult to know who they supported in the election.

I suppose that they were the type who did not think their candidate would win if he were honest, or they were the type who figured anyone did not vote for him (or her) was a horrible person. Then again he might have been targeting people of a different country or maybe the whole Western World. All the same, only an evil person would deliberately send out viruses in email or someone who thinks the internet only belongs to them and their friends and no one else. Thanks for the best response.

Hi vetrivelans, you're welcome. I try to pass the virus alerts along when I can. I hope others will do the same.
