how does the internet-age affect our ability to personally connect with others? some have argued that the keyboard to keyboard interaction of the internet age is having a detrimental effect on our ability to meaningfully connect with other people. i agree, to a certain extent- most of our internet communication is pretty superficial stuff.. how bout your thoughts?:-)

I disagree. I have kept in better touch with friends who are far away due to email and facebook. I've reconnected with many people who were gone from my life for years thanks to the internet. I've even formed deep friendship with people I've never actually encountered in body.

Yes internet has a large impact on myself and my lifestyle. It has been a part of my daily routine. I use the net everyday. I love to watch movie over the net, which is free compare to renting some DVDs. I could communicate with my friends wherever they may be. Internet has many uses nowadays.
