Do you use the backseat seat belt as a passenger?

Just recently my country has implemented a new law in the country. Everybody sitting at the back of the car need to buckle their seatbelt. Failed for doing this will cost you a summon that will fine you at least 300 here, or USD 100.
Since so far, we do not really practise this habit of buckling up our seatbelt when sitting at the backseat, I find this law rather annoying.
It is compulsory to buckle the back seatbelt in your country too? Do you buckle your seatbelt when you are a passenger?
This law is only implemented to the cars, I wonder if they would want to implement it to the buses!

Yes, this law for backseat belt usage has also been recently implemented in my country.
Not only will the offender who do not belt up be fined, the driver will also be fined the same amount and have demerit points added to his record too.
It is a law that is loosely enforced. But who is going to take that chance?
The fine is not cheap. And with money getting harder to earn, we are all biting our tonge and obeying the law.

Everyone should wear a seat belt while riding in a car. We always wear ours.

Yeah in the u.s. you have to wear a seatbelt front or back, or you can be taken to jail, fined, and even have your license revoked. I always wear my belt. Seen to many people killed not wearing one, to take that chance.
