I'm 55 and in the last few years I've developed a whole new outlook on life. I have change my lifestyle, I'm more energetic and I look forward to the future. Heck, I could be around for another 50 years yet, so maintaining fitness and good health is important!
I'm ready to face whatever challenges life throws at me now. If I die tomorrow I will go feeling my life has been a great adventure, not always happy, not always good, but I always continued to love it and I appreciate all my life experiences.

I am past fifty, but now at another dangerous, sixty-five going on sixty-six and my husband says "we're old. old, old." It is not like being elderly, because when you get to be in your eighties and nineties, then you get respect, but old means decrepit, you cannot do this, you cannot do that. You have arthritis, diabetes, have to watch what you eat. AS to when life begins, it depends on what went before. I had no major milestones like child birth after marriage before, so my life has not yet begun. I have sprung from seventeen to middle age. I want the middle back.

life begins at any age whether it's one, forty, fifty or sixty, even. it is a matter of perception and mindset. if we tell ourselves we are too old then we are but if we believe that every year that we have our birthday is an opportunity for us to grow then it is that time that our life begins again.

Hi there vanities, I am in my 30s. I really don't know if 50 is to old or just in the middle. I do care about my age getting higher and higher but I dont not worry much about it. What is important is we enjoy life may we be 20 or 50 or 7o right. I guess the important thing is to value what we have and live each day with content. This will certainly make life worth it regardless of age. Best to you!

Hey vanities! Now listen here girlfriend! Life better begin
at 50 because I am 56 and I certainly don't want to think
about the alternative! It is scary turning 50 I will admit
that. I wish I was still in my 40's, but as you know there is
nothing we can do about the "clock". So we just have to accept
it the best we can and keep on moving and living our life
the best we can. Age is just a number! At least that's what
people tell me!

Hello vanities,
I understand that each time a new year comes, we will be a year older. When I reached 30, I stopped counting my age. I just don't want to think of how old I have become or how many new wrinkles have appeared on my face... I just live my life as I wish to. But sometimes when I look back, I am happy to know that I have many good things to remember in my 20's, 30's and so on.

You are right. Time really flies. Fifty is not yet old. You are at the middle age. Old age starts at the age of 70. Never think that you are too old. Now I am at the age of 53 but I never feel old. And I look young if you look at my photo. C'mon, stay young and you will be young. Trust me.

it depends on how you feel good about yourself. Some people looks even younger eventhough their age is getting older. Don't feel conscious about your age. Aging means that you are living longer here on earth, and age doesn't matter, isn't it?
