i had to look it up because i know every one was talking about it and me being a fellow ebay re-seller was worried about some baby merchandise i have to sell that i know is fine but obviously i dont have any way of testing it to prove it etc.. well it only has to be proven on the NEW toys and clothes so if you sell old stuff then you wont have to prove its lead free..
i think its a good step in the right direction and it at least wont shut down some of the thrift stores and sellers like some people were fearing etc..

yes I was wondering too about that, how are ordinary people like you and me gonna know if there is lead in the old clothes or not, it makes sense to be only on new products that are tested before sold. Thanks for clearing that up.

A while back there was another discussion about this and they were worried that they couldn't sell older childrens clothing....and I glad to find out that it's only on newly made products! Otherwise some children would really be missing out!
