As I was watching Good Morning America they reported on yet another money manger that has gone on the run because he cannot pay his investors back. I'm not too sure how I feel about this. Growing up poor I know what it is to have nothing- these people losing thier money seem to be the type of people that have always had money and dont know how to deal with life without it. Two money managers have been reported to have commited suicide - then found to have faked thier deaths in order to avoid paying off thier debts to the people that invested in them. The day and age we are in is crazy with all these "rich" people now going broke. What are you thoughts on this? Do you feel badly for these people- or are you a realist like I am and realize that these people are crying over spilled milk- when most of the world doesn't even have milk to spill. Sorry if that sounds harsh- but thats how I see it. I rather hear more stories about the people that have anonomously bailed out foreclosed mortgage owners - or those people have have second and third home to spare that are now giving them to those in need then to keep hearing about these rich going poor and not knowing how to to deal with life!

Ok stupid question - but - what exactly is a money manager? :) Is it just another word for bank or what?
