How many times?? For what purpose mainly? I think these two questions can answer many questions. Like how busy are you? How geeky are you? Soo many...

Well I hardley ever turn off my computer, i just let it run, its probley not a very good idea doing that to it, but its an old computer and it takes forever to bootup. Sometimes a put it in sleep mode but it still takes forever to come out of that. Im getting a new top of the line dell computer here soon when the rest of the parts come in. Its supposed to be really good and we had to cumstom made off the internet. So im pretty exicted about getting that, so glad to get rid of the old junk computer

hello friend... well, once i turn my computer on, it will be on till i shut it down like at the end of the day because i don't like to turn on and off because it takes a lot of time to boot up and shut down... i also sometimes put the computer into hibernation mode so i can quickly access it... i mainly use it for checking my mails, friendster and also moderate a forum board...

I just switch it off once or twice a day, most of the time I will put it in stand-by mode so that I can resume back with it easily rather than starting over from again that too from the beginning. Putting in stand-by doesn't consume much of the electricity too so I don't mind keeping it in stand-by for hours. Mostly I take breaks for lunch, dinner etc & thats the time I switch it to stand-by position. If the break is gonna be long then I will shut it down.
