The Senate proves it will be nothing but a rubber stamp for Prs. Obama

Taking a couple of days to feign concern over the many conflicts of interest with Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State, the US Senate confirmed her with only 2 dissenting votes.
This is how this Senate will be, nothing but a gaggle of "yes" men and women for Prs. Obama.
They never cared about the conflicts of interest, so why did they lie about being concerned at all?
Hillary wasn't challenged on any of them, nor was she vetted.
If all Congress is going to be is a speed bump for Prs. Obama what good are they? We already have the problem that the worthless paycheck thieves Pelosi and Reid think there job is to sit around waiting for word from the White House, now they are proving it isn't word they are waiting for but marching orders.
If this is the way they are going to be, why have a Legislative branch at all?

and don't forget Emanuel!
You're right, Obama has made worse picks than Hillary... but the Senate didn't care about criminals, why would they care about a few conflicts of interest.

That is why voting all for the Democrats was not a good idea. When in Canada, the Liberals were in power, our Senate was all fill of Liberal appointees because like you, we had a long period of Liberal prime ministers, just as you, until the first Bush had a long period of Democratic presidents. Now for you it has gone full circle, you now have a Democratic congress and senate. That means that any laws that Obama wants to pass will get the rubber staff.
We in Canada still have laws that our former prime minister Trudeau and latter Chretian let through and a law that has already been passed has difficulty getting repealed.

It's ironic, when Bush was president and the Republicans had the majority, the Democrats whined in their diapers saying, "That shouldn't mean Congress just rubber stamps everything".
They used filibusters and suckered the spineless majority leader and speaker just enough to get their way when they wanted it.
What do you bet me that now that they own the Federal Government, they won't put up with filibusters and tears. They will play up to the RINOs in the Senate just enough to make things come out their way.
The Republicans blew it themselves though. They allowed the Democrats to control the debate in almost everything. Weak leadership is worse than no leadership at all.

Of all the appointees I think with the past history of the Clintons Hillary should have been given a thorough grilling. The sad part is with all the conflicts she is going to represent our country world-wide. As for Pelosi she needs to be gone.

I am really disappointed in McCain. I saw him on C-Span rooting for Hillary to get in, and it sickened me. What's wrong with him? And while we're on the subject of the Secretary of State, if she's so great, why is Obama hiring envoys to the middle east and elsewhere? That's no showing much confidence in her, is it? Just because somebody travels a lot doesn't mean they'd make a good diplomat. I just shudder to think what blunders she'll do.

McCain misses being the media darling he's always been. Now that he's not running for president anymore, he'll go back to being the posterchild for the RINOs and kiss the butts of every Democrat and Reporter he can find.
