I am reading chicken soup for the soul and it never stops to uplift me. I think if you want something sweet try reading a danielle steel book. I read one and i think its a love story but somewhat tragic in the beggining. But it has a happy ending.

I understand. I've been there before, just wanting to read a sweet love story. I'm reading The Yellow-Lighted Bookshop by Lewis Buzbee. Hope you enjoy your love story. :)

I know exactly what you mean. I experienced a lot of those same things reading some other books. Right now I'm reading some non-fiction parenting books, but I'm really itching for a good love story as well.

Just starting "The Kite Runner" which I talked about in a discussion awhile back. I'm going to start reading it in bed tonight. No sweet love story with this one! I haven't read Fern Michael before. Any good?

I am reading Tami Hoag right now, it's called "Dust to Dust". I'm guessing there was an "Ashes to Ashes" and this is the sequel? But so far I haven't missed out on anything. Her books usually aren't a real favorite of mine. I like murder/mystery novels usually and hers have that aspect to them but there's usually a thick love plot in there. I can do without that.
