A small boy was going door to door selling clothes to pay for his education. He was hungry and had only ten cents in his pocket. He decided to ask for some food next door. When a beautiful lady opened the door, he just asked for a glass of water. Seeing the kid hungry, she gave him a big glass of milk. Years later when the same lady was admitted for a very rare disease, a doctor in the hospital, Dr. Howard Kelly was intrigued after knowing the place she came from. It brought a memmory flashing back and he went to see the lady. He was astonished to see the same lady who had given him a glass of milk years back. He paid special attention and won the battle for her. He instructed the hospital to send the bill to him before submitting it to her. When she opened the bill, she wept. Written below was:PAID IN FULL WITH A GLASS OF MILK. Little kindnesses dont go unanswered in life. Let us learn from this story that every little bit of kindness done will come round full circle to you some day.

Yes, life is a big give and take. When goodness is given, you get it back ten fold. God repays us for the smallest act of kindness a hundred times over. We should learn from this story and try our best to impart kindness to others too.

It was such a wonderful story, I knew I had to share it with you guys. Kindness is like a beautiful reflection, and it reflects the same kindness some time in life. What goes round comes back with greater intensity. A little act of kindness saved her life, and fed a hungry doctor to be. God repays goodness in a million different ways. Thanks.

That is a great story, thank you for sharing. Not all we do will have such a special pay back. But all we do will have a payback, and sadly sometimes it is negative. If we rush around, impatient with others, grouchy or whatever the people around us will react with negative emotions. If we smile, take time to say something pleasant and nice to others that may make their day more joyful. My husband is one of the latter type people, he is fun and nice to everyone. Because of some health reasons I am rarely able to go with him to stores or whatever. One day when I did get to go I was pleased to hear two checkout ladies talking about him, saying what fun he was, how he made their day with his twinkling eyes and big grin. These ladies were smiling just thinking about him.

You are blessed with a wonderful husband who always has a smile or a kind word for everybody. Im sure He will bless you and your family, for what little pleasue or charity we can give in this world without expecting anything in return comes back to us so many many folds doubled. Yes, a kind word goes a long way in making a persons day. I hope you feel better very soon, no, I know you will be better very soon. Amen.

I am really touched by the story. Although we are facing difficulties, we are relatively lucky to keep normal life. It is becoming a common understanding, and people are doing more voluntarily for charity purposes. When I do such things, I am not expecting anything material in return, but definitely I am feeling better sentimentally.

These difficult times will pass away sooner or later, but what ever little we can give or do for others we must, without expecting anything in return. Then the return comes tenfold one way or the other. Yes, as you say, that feeling of well being is definitely there when we do our share of good deeds. Thank you and God Bless.
