I have been a die hard fan of rock music from a very young age. Although there are no coincidences related to this; but when I was a kid, i used to listen to All India Radio Western Music Section; which used to be played every night at 11.30 pm. And it was there that i first heard the likes of Metallica, Iron Maiden,Bruce Springstean and Jon Bon Jovi. And since then i have been listening to Rock almost non-stop till now. Although there have been many hits belted out by rock groups; but Bon Jovi's "Blaze Of Glory" still seems to me the most powerful number written, composed and performed by Jon himself. DO you guys agree on this...?

I like Bon Jovi but i love his newer work like Midnight in Chelsea and Janie don't take your love to town. I got complete albums on Bon Jovi back when i was a kid but now it's gone. I personally love the Keep The Faith album. I still listen to it up to now.

Old habbits must be kept alive; so that we can still revive the child/youth in us. Even i have been listening to rock since 1990s; the time when is was 18 something. Thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts. happy Mylotting!

I'm a Bon Jovi die hard. "Blaze of Glory" is powerful but I think "It's my Life" and "I'll be There For You" are equally good.

Thanks a lot Friend! I like Rock music because it has a very nice way of venting out the turbulences that we keep experiencing inside. The beauty of that song which i mentioned; BLAZE OF GLORY is that it is completely without inhibitions; comes straight from the heart. Ya and the other one you suggested is also a nice one indeed. Thanks! Keep Rocking...

What about other genres of music; have you heard the "Road to Hell" by Chris Rea.? It is another very powerful number that I love.

I believe Blaze of Glory is way up there in the top ten of Bon Jovi great songs, but I'm not sure if its top. My other favourites include Always and Bed of Roses, fantastic ballads I reckon. But then for dancing and singing along to I would say that Living on a Prayer must be up there too. There are just too many greats to choose from ...
