If you win the Lottery...

I think it's everyone's dream to win the lottery. I would surely go on long holiday and buy some things that I can't now and more clothes. But I think I would still keep some form of work, maybe only part time so I can wake up late. What would you do? will you still go to work? and wwould you still connect to myLot?

Apart from being very comfortable, I would set up some trust funds for some family members and a friend or two so they could also be very comfortable with me. I would establish a charity to help fathers fighting to keep their children when the mothers abandons them. Courts are not always kind to fathers. I would also probably take on a few American foster children who were deemed unadoptable.

That's great, very generous of you to share your wealth with those in need. I hope you win then to make someone else happy.

LOL. I know my friends. Money alone does not make you happy. If I am rich and my friends are still poor, I will enjoy their company a lot more if they have their own money. I don't want to have to constantly listen to them whine (kidding). See, there is a little selfish streak. When I say, let's go, I don't want any excuses :) They had better get their tails in high gear and be ready to go. My grandbaby's mother abandoned him and his father (my son) when the baby was 3. After two years, she wants to stir up the pot so she doesn't have to pay child support. The child has autism and she disputes that. It is a hot mess. I admire my son because he always put his baby first; but I have watched his struggle. I also see the excitement and sympathy that Americans show for children of all ages from other countries. I think we can do more for our children at home as well.

I've thought about this a lot, but I've never played the lottery. Strange, I know. I would pay off my house, pay off the rest of my debt, and start up some long-term investments so my future is secure. I'd go on vacation, and then I would make sure my family was taken care of as best as I could. Yes, I would still work because I love writing and I couldn't imagine not doing that on a regular basis. Plus, we're raising five kids here and we don't want to send the message to them that they can skate through life without making sacrifices, working hard, and earning what they deserve. Yes, they would have what they need in terms of college education and all of that, but the last thing I want them to experience is the negative stigma that is sometimes attached to people who have things handed to them on a silver platter.

The thing about winning the lottery is that you need to either buy a ticket or be given one. Great if you are given one but if you are buying you probably should stop dreaming about the lottery and start investing the money into an online business. I have friends that spend money on the 3 main lotteries here where I live. They spend more than $20.00 a week and the most they have ever won is less than $100.00. And that is over many years of spending like that. On the other hand I put the same amount of money aside for my online business and guess what... I have made a whole lot more than they have and now I have a nice big house that's ours, even the lot beside us so we can have a garden. We also live in the middle of our city so it wasn't cheap to buy an extra lot just to have a garden. So I would say NO I don't dream about winning the lottery. I saved and invested my money and now have more than 90% of all those that spend money on the lottery. Now that's over about 30 years of not buying lottery tickets. I have saved over $1000.00 a year while my friends are still scraping buy and dreaming. I don't say this to be mean. I just think it's a waste of time and can be very addictive. Plus most people wake up just as the dream starts to get good, don't they? :)

I agree with you, many people spend too much on lottery tickets. Nowadays I rarely play and only buy one ticket when the pot is high. Congratulations on your business.
