ironing underwater in chepstow wales. it is a competition and to win you must iron a few laundry items for at least 10 minutes. http://www.metro.co.uk/weird/article.html?Extreme_ironers_break_record_in_underwater_feat&in_article_id=471187&in_page+id=2

Yeah, I've also seen guys on surf boards, ironing. I think our friend p1kefish did a discussion on that last year some time.

I heard about this a couple of weeks ago when I was watching a channel called Reality TV. It looked really weird to me, but I could think of about five people in my family that would love competing in a competition like that. hehe Yeah, my family is a little strange.

hi explorations...hey strange people do make life interesting hehe. and doing anything underwater is a sport then add a household chore and it's more of a challenge. so it'a all good and entertaining for spectators. i saw a bunch of them in the competition on tv as well. it is very interesting viewing. too bad your 5 fam members couldn't be a part of it. they'd love it.

Not just underwater, but on tops of mountains or while snowboarding or indeed any dangerous situation. I love the idea. It nicely carries on a tradition of British eccentricity while quietly subverting and taking the piss out of extreme sports.
