curious what the world has to say about you? The act of searching for yourself is named egogoogling. Have you? What you discovered? In the search results you will find a lot of things about you that you didn`t even know. For example: "Nick is" on wee-male. What about your name?

I have before. Mostly junk shows up. I am not going to go threw all the pages just to see if maybe something on me shows up like myspace or so.

Yes, I admit I "ego-surf" quite often. There was a time when others were using my work without permission, and I didn't realize this until I did a search for my name. I was able to rememdy those situations, and regular searches has helped me set up a saftey net on the 'net. :-) I've also learned about friends from school who were looking for me and posting about it on message boards and in blogs. That was a pretty neat discovery.

I have. Turns out I'm pretty anonymous and I like it that way. It did turn up one entry for a book in which I was quoted and cited.
