Okay people, I said Tweeter not Tweaker.
I recently got in touch with a friend that I had not spoken to in a long time. She got me using Twitter. For those of you who don't know what Twitter is, it's almost like an online chat except you answer 1 question- what are you doing? It's like a real time stream of your life. I thought it was really stupid at first but it was free so I tried it. Then I started coming across online people I knew and now I'm sorely addicted to this site. You can follow blogs, talk to your friends, and do shameless self promotion of your crafty shop or blog if you have one. It takes about 2 seconds to set up and learn. You can even twitter from your cell and text people.
It really is a fun addicting social networking concept. I even have a celeb on my follow list. Well sorta. He was in Stand By Me- Wil Wheaton. It was kinda of funny to see him texting from his phone at some has been actor party but hey Buck Rodgers was there.
So anyway, is there anyone else on Twitter?? Anyone, who is on or signs up- PM me if you want to be a Twitter buddy- my name is different on there than it is on here.
Here's my question: How do you feel about Twitter?? Love it or hate it- I wanna know!

Hi Skinnychick, I had never heard of Twitter until this discussion but I now suddenly have about 5 emails from the same guy asking me to join, I haven't a clue who he is and it comes as an unknown sender so I think I will give it a miss. Sounds like fun for you though. Huggles. Ellie :D

I do not twitter in a box, but I may twitter for a fox. And you are definitely a fox. I'll take a looksee, but I don't have time to be addicted to much of anything these days except vacation planning, remodeling, and ebay...but for you I will look.

I use Twitter, as i find it a good way to keep up to date with my friends but also as a good promotion tool for my blog.
I have my blog linked to my twitter account and vice versa and I also have widgets on OrKut and MySpace so that my friends on there can also follow what I am up to, and at the same time follow any new blog posts.
It is so addictive.
