Have you watched Babylon AD by Vin Diesel? Disappointing.

My latest watch is Babylon AD by Vin Diesel. I was expecting that I would see a high action film here but unfortunately, I've expected too much just like on his last movie XXX (though I was more entertained by that movie). The action scenes were too bland, I mean considering the hunky Vin Diesel should have more fight scenes that what I saw. The movie was full of talking scenes and riding scenes, they have helicopter, snow sleds, submarine, and car scenes but not too much of the actual fist or man to man combat. Maybe Vin Diesel's too heavy? but I guess not because compared to The Rock, The Rock is much bigger than he is but he sure gets more action scenes on his movies. The effects and props are also bland in Babylon AD. This is a sci-fi, futuristic film but I wasn't satisfied by what I saw, nothing grand or spectacular effects, I've only seen a futuristic map here and futuristic TV (which are still not too futuristic on my standards) but that's all. Even the storyline is not good, there's a lot of unanswered questions and the movie is too long. This is my first time this year that I got disappointed on a movie that I watched. Disappointed because I like Vin Diesel because I find him soo masculine.

I wasnt too impressed about this movie either. I do however think that is started out semi ok and it seemed that it just stopped. From the bathroom scene on was a total diasapointment to me, it just had nothing really there. I was also severly dissapointed that the bathroom scene only had what it had it was set up to be a hot scene and fizzled faster then it could of even began. I know I know she was supposed to be "the virgin Mary" but still, Vin Diesel hasnt gotten hot and heavy in any movies lately. I love him as a actor and of corse am gaga over his body and looks so ya thins movie was a definit disapointment. Hopefull his new installment of "Fast and Furious" is way better I can wait, Paul Walker and Vin Deisle in the same movie with awesome cars what more can you want LOL

Haha, I couldn't agree more, that bathroom scene was like, oooh, then, puff, what's that? totally kill joy. I hardly can wait for the Fast and the Furious, hope it won't give me the same disappointments.

I saw that movie too and was disappointed also. I thought there would be more action. And then at the end I was like what the heck that was all. Whered all those kids come from? And that chick was really annoying kinda. The future was lame too, but the technology looked cool in the city but the transportation was weird. They used submarines?? no planes? oh well, I hope that movie the next 'fast and furious' movie is good.

I am also looking forward for the next The Fast and the Furious movie by Vin Diesel. I like the original casting and that's the first movie where I say Vin Diesel and I liked him in that movie.

Thank you for appreciating. Although we may have different opinions and values, it is sometimes good to hear feedback, at least you'll know what to expect or what to prioritize when it comes to watching.
