I feel so sorry for both George and Cindy Anthony. How heartbreaking it must be for George to be the star witness in the case against Casey. Remember that she is still their daughter and how hard must it be that they have to live everyday knowing that their own flesh and blood killed someone who was so precious to them. Honestly, I'm not sure what Cindy could have done. Casey was her mother and as such did still have parental rights. I think that there is so much more to learn here about the family dynamic. For some reason, Casey seemed to have the position of power in that house. Not sure why. Perhaps because George and Cindy loved Caylee so much. I do agree that at some point along the way they needed to straighten out that spoiled brat. I'm sure that the lying and stealing didn't just start a few months ago. It's hard for me to believe that George and Cindy didn't question how Casey could have a nanny when she didn't work. Where would the money come to pay for the nanny? If they thought that she did work, why wouldn't they have questioned why they had to support Caylee and Casey if there was money coming in. I think that George and Cindy looked the other way because they were so concerned about Casey removing Caylee from the home and they knew that Casey wasn't in a position to support herself let alone a little girl. It breaks my heart everytime I see a picture of that poor little child. How Casey could sit by and watch her parents go through this agony and allowing her parents to be destroyed is beyond me? I guess it's because the only person that Casey cares about is Casey. A classic sociopath.
