What would be the best reason for you to file an immediate resignation?

We are all grateful when we got our new jobs but when stress comes in and massive layoffs were done, some are looking for options. If an employee is planning to resign and immediately search for great choices in his or her career, let us say that a person was able to find a replacement for his current job. Then, what would be the best reason to file an immediate resignation when a company asked you to render 30 days? Is it really on the Philippine labor code to render 30 days?

Yes it is in the Philippine labor code to render 30 days notice. The company could even go after the employee if it is immediate and the employee would not report immediately after giving notice. Don't do unto others what you don't want others to do to you. How would you feel if your employer would say that you are not to report immediately tomorrow? Not nice right? So it goes both ways. Fair is fair. However, I have allowed some of those that I am supervising to render just a 15 days notice. I am not one of those who stands in the way of those who wants to better themselves. As long as everything is in order and the company is not put into jeopardy, then I am sooo okey with it.
