Well I am a compulsive spender so really the only thing I can really do is stay home more so I don't go to the shops and spend, but I have found a way, a strange way to help me get through this, I joined a site connected to facebook called Yoville, much the same as the sims games but you can interact with other members where you have an apartment and you earn play money to decorate that apartment , it is like a make believe town with stores and a place of work and as you earn your play money doing various things you buy new things for yout apartment, it is so addictive it has saved me a lot of money because I don't want to go spending my real money which I desperately had to stop doing....

My fiance and I live with his parents and therefore do not have to worry about money. However, we try to do all we can in the way of helping them by using less of water as well as electricity. We save money more then spend it and we consider whether we need or want it before we buy it.

Well yeah these are hard times especially if you are jobless. I try to spend only on neede things, however it is difficult to keep strictly on that, then I leave some extra few pounds so I can buy a treat to my child.

Budget preparation is the best way to handle money in the current situation. Though it is a traditional one, it is the best one.
