there are soo many different types of discussions out there. but which do u really prefer? more than half are one line questions of people trying to make a quick penny but really because of their lack of effort in their discussions arnt doing themselves any favors so im going to answer for everyone and say that these arnt a prefered discussion type. or r they? would u prefer to read a long paragraphed discussion? or does a one line question suit u just fine? i personally prefer a discussion to be a question that will strike up alot ot different opinions and people will disagree and debate because it really shows all perceptions on the issue and i enjoy. so please.. share with me ur favorite types of discussions? because i can ramble about anything and maybe.. just maybe i can create a discussion worth replying to for once :]

I don't really like the one liners either because, not only is it difficult to come up with a decent, interesting response, they're actually pretty boring and I tend to skip over them. I do love a lively debate and will return to a discussion again and again if there are interesting views being expressed. So, the quicky one line posters aren't doing themselves any favors.

I'd have to agree with you but then I see a lot of one lines such as "what is your favorite color" that get a whole lot of responses. So obviously some people must like simple direct questions. I think if the question is short it gives people the ability to just write about anything they want as long as it vaguely has to do with the original subject.
