It is up to the members that read your discussions and responses to help you raise your rating. Your other responder gave a great answer too. Don't worry, the ratings should come as you go along on the site

I don't know how it feels like to even have reputation points, as I have none till yet :( but I can always take some time in thinking what the best response could be or if you focus more on comforting the other person who has problems.

You already have reputation points, you just have not reached the 100 post count mark to get your star to see what they are

No matter what you think, once you've got reputation points, you care about it.I just found out that my reputation points increased to 57 from 23,and I am really happy about it!

I will let you know something that I know. 1) You have now created a General Discussion. Don't do that. Go to Interest tab and add the Interests that suites you. This discussion is about mylot and so you can start under that Interest. That will get you more response. 2) You have just made a single line as the description. That won't be rated much. Just make sure that you type atleast 5 to 7 lines big and you will see your rating increasing fast. Quality of the posts is more important. Only then people will rate your post or thread. So take care of that and you will get good ratings. Happy mylotting.
