Old Christian Belief

I'm interested on how many people follow the old ways of Christianity? I and my boyfriend have been Church going people for many years and decided that the older ways of Christian beliefs are far better than the way of many Churches out there. We've done a study on early Christian marriages and I did a further study on holidays and other things that the early Christians have done. Nothing back in 30AD talks of Church in need of money or supporters. It was about worship and the teaching of the earliest known parables of Christ rather than local news and socializing. So I am wondering who else follows the early belief system of Christianity? Who would (if given the chance) follow such a turn around of Christianity? I do say that it is a big turn around because most things that early Christians did are not of the world today. For instance; marriage was a verbal agreement between man and woman, tithing was permitted but not necessary if you were poor, there was a holiday for 290 days out of the year, the ten commandments were the most taught and held in the Church, Church wasn't anything fancy it was either a field or in the middle of the forest or even hidden, and families of a Christian couple often shared a home or farm together (that means grandparents, moms, dads, aunts, uncles, cousins, in laws, etc...). Another thing of early Christianity was with family came a trade that they shared and this was their job and duty for the community to make ends meet in the household. Could or would you be able to follow the old Christian Belief?

I am very interested in this, finding the authentic practice of Christianity. "Where two or three are gathered together in my name..." all the best urban

My church follows that..and I'm happy that they're doing so because its not commercialized and it is exactly how God wants it to be. This is how the founder of our church built the foundations in our church..though we have many struggles but the Lord is holding us and keeping us and guiding us through. Our church has spread and has been blessed tremendously in many parts of the world, if you'd like I could search if we have a church around your area.. :) Princess
