Fraud to MyLotters?

I dont` know why i don`t put my own picture as my avatar. I guess you could probably tell more about me from the picture i choose than how i actually look. Its in a way i feel you get more of an impression as to what some one is like from the way they choose to put there image across. For example if i were to put one of my pictures up where me and some friends are messing about on a beach, laid on a sun lounger with my arms behind my head your initial thought might be -loves himself. If you see a photo of me from work with my glasses on you may think Geek. To sum up i guess you can see more about someones personality from a choice of picture than you get from 1st impressions from a photo. Never judge a book by its cover. :-)

I like using an avatar that has some meaning to me but is not a photo of me. I don't have a recent photo of myself and have none on my computer. Plus the Internet is not a safe place and everyone should do what they can to protect their identity on the Internet so it can't be stolen. Thus they should use screen names and not real names and not real photos of themselves. Now I like seeing real photos of the people that I am having discusions with as much as anyone but I don't recommend it as much as I hate to say that. Mylot is a site that is only protected by your screen name and password combination for posting. Visiting and reading discusions can, or at least it used to be possible, be done just by coming to the site. I have gotten to a discussion before from a search engine topic and read the discussion and responses without signing in. So for safety I use a screen name and a non-photo avatar.

i dont have my pic up mainly because when i started this i didnt have any personal pics on the computer. i do now and i have thought about changing it but just have not gotten around to it.

when i signed up at mylot, i didnt see any one's real pix, so i felt we were to put any kind of pix, and not our real pix. but wheni've spent some time here, i began to see pix that look kind of real, but i couldnt tell if it's really theirs, as i dont know them b4.

I don't use my own pics, because i don't have my photo in my computer. I only have a few picture about my family, so i don't put my own pics in MyLot Avatar. For what avatar made, are for interest by other member or just for fun.

I always put my picture on as an avatar for all the sites I'm in because I want people to know who I am when they are reading what I write. I don't want them just to be looking at some picture that it's not even a person and be wondering what the person looks like! That's my opinion.

I don't have any photos of me on my compute. I can assure you though that if I had one it would be just like the one I have in my avatar now. Oh well not yellow but the quizzical look is just the same always
