I love coffee, and I love hot chocolate. So, in the morning, I often heat up some milk in the microwave (I do not use water, even thought that's what the packet says) and I make a cup of coffee as I normally would w/cream and sugar. Then, I dump the hot milk in and stir in a packet of hot chocolate. My favorite is Land O' Lakes, but, I often use a cheaper variety too. Does anyone else do this? It's so good; but not so good to drink too many as they're pretty high in calories. Yumm.

Hey there! I've done that before and I still do that now! I don't do that often though. I enjoy the flavor of both separately but together, they have a completely different and enjoyable taste. I still enjoy hot choco on it's own better though. I just use Milo for the hot chocolate and I've never actually tried substituting any other hot choco brand when mixing with coffee.

I've never heard of "Milo". I'll have to look into that. So far, Land O' Lakes is my favorite. But, I often use a less expensive brand. Thanks for writing.

Yes! I do this sometimes. I really prefer it cold. Coffee, a splash of powdered milk, no cal sweetener and powdered choco. I have to make this a bit hot then I put lots of ice cubes since I prefer my coffee-choco combi cold.

Yes, I have done this many times. It's called a Mocha Cappachino. And they are delicious. However I perfer to go to Tim Horton's and grab one as they are very highly addictive and they taste great. But making them at home is just as good. Half coffee and half hot chocolate with whip cream and chocolate shavings. YUM!
