Would you tell your wife if her favourite dress was actually not suiting her?

I sometimes find myself in a dilema. My wife is putting on a dress which she is particularly fond of, but some how I do not like it. If I tell her, she will feel disappointed and will never wear it again. It is not a bad dress. It is quite costly too, but I am not particularly fond of it. Waht woudl you do in such a situation?

I probably wouldn't volunteer any information, but if she asked, I would be honest with her...

i would just tell her nicely its not one of your favorites or if its not a flattering dress on her that it doesnt do her body justice and that something else may make her curves or body stand out more.. she probably wants your opinion its just all in how you give it

Perhaps its not the dress itself, but the way she accessories it. You might suggest a belt or jewelery, shoes etc that would bring out the dress and make it more becoming.

It depends on the situation. If it's just me who don't like the dress, well, I will let her go. But if the dress is so funny that other people will make fun of her, I will nicely tell her about that and ask her if she will consider another dress.

Well if the dress looks good on her and she wears it well, don't say any thing just because you don't like the dress she not make any difference,i have a lot of clothes the guy friend does not but he keeps his mouth shut, because he does not want to make me mad.I wear my clothes to suit me ot other people.

Unless she looked utterly ridiculous in the dress, I'd leave her alone.
