What do you know about the coptic church???

The Coptic Church in Egypt is doing alot for education and building bridges between Christianity and Islam. :)

The west wants people to think that the world did not start spinning until the Greeks popped up. I goes along with their theory that Africa contributed nothing to society. But the truth is that all Christian concepts find their roots in Africa - Monotheism, The Trinity, The Immaculate Conception, Rising to heaven in three days, ect.... all are ancient African concepts. At the Conference of Nicene - Arius - A Burtha from North Africa - was kicked out of the conference because he said that "This Jesus that you are creating is nothing but Serapes" - Coptics did not believe in the 3 in One theory (Which is a African concept) - We have always had love for the trinity - (Man, Woman and Child) was the first Holy trinity - and in essence that is what it still represents because "the holy spirit" is a feminine concept hence - The Father, The Son and the Holy female spirit - I think Wiccans still celebrate it. But in the Original Christian churches before it was accepted in Rome - did not believe in the 3 in one theory - They thought that God is God and that is it. It took Constantine to rule that the trinity was real - That is why you never see the Trinity in the bible - It was man made by power seeking empires and preacher.

I think the Coptic church was founded by Mark, he of the second gospel, and was considered to practice one of the purest forms of Christianity. I think that the Coptic church is probably still active in Ethiopia, which, for all its recent problems, has practiced Christianity longer than most of Europe has - one of the reasons why that country managed to escape being colonized, unlike most of Africa. I'd love to know what others have to say on this subject, and if anyone can add or correct me, you are most welcome.

I bet you do not know that i know it too.Yes history have a proofs that before Islam enter the country,it was a christian country but it also have other religious before islam and christian.Another religion is like animase who believe to nature power,religion accept fire as God and others.Phrophet Musa is the messenger to Egypt country and bring Islam religion but it not too well known as Islam because many challenge.The pharaoh always torture Islam religious.
