How do I process iron on letters appropiately without burning a shirt?

Yesterday I went to Walmart and saw these nice iron on letters, then I thought of using them to promote myself since I'm currently self employed. I read the instructions, but then I thought it would be best if I just leave it for later and ask someone who really knows about this. How can I do this appropiately without ruining my new shirts?

It is not hardjust follow the instructions and you will be fine.I make tee shirts for my ands all the time,we sell them at the shows and i enjoy doing it,but i have to be in the mood for it,if my mine is not on it i leave for another day.Good luck have fun.
