Open door policy in this house

We recently moved to SE Oklahoma. There was my husband, myself and our 14 year old dog, named Dawg. While we were staying in an RV park waiting for the house to finalize a beagle adopted us and just would not take no for an answer. So life goes on for about three weeks and the jerk next door brings home a Sheltie. After watching the insensitive boob leave the little guy out in the rain and feed him almost nothing my husband walks up to the guy and informs him that we are taking the dog. Harley joins the family. We finally move into our house, which is a renovators nightmare, that is a whole nother discussion! Theres a fire in a trailer down the way and a week after the accident we find a scorched puppy, and baby Pheonix makes four. Last week here the hubby comes with an emaciated hound, Honey I named her Daisy. What is a mother to do?

That is wonderful! You sound like us. Our dogs have all "found" us as well. Perhaps you could adopt them out to good families if you find your family getting too large. Just a kind family you are.
