            If you and 9 friends go to a restaurant together. Suppose that there are 3 pieces of bread in one plate, 4 apples in one basket and 5 meatballs in one bowl. How many plates, baskets and bowls you order so that each person will have at least one piece of bread, an apple and a meatball?
Please note that this is only a math question from grade 1 pupil

                    Hi youless! This one is easy! I have nine friends who will go to the restaurant with me, so that is a total of ten people.
I will order:
4 plates of bread (4plates x 3 breads = 12, which will give me an excess of 2 breads)
3 baskets of apples (3 x 4 = 12, giving me an excess of 2 apples) and
2 bowls of meatballs (2 x 5 = 10), which is just right for the ten of us.
And all the excess, i am going to take home if my friends wouldn't want to eat the excess..don't like to waste it! lol.. Take care and have a great day!

                    There will be food left over, of course.
me + 9 = 10
3 = bread
4 = apples
5 = meatballs
3, 6, 9, 12 = 4 plates of bread with 2 pieces remaining.
4, 8, 12 = 3 plates of applies with 2 apples remaining
5, 10 = 10 meatballs with a remainder of 0.
i've always been lousy at using the methods that the teachers want me to use to solve word problems, but I can usually get them correct by using my own logic, as I've done in this case.

                    This is a funny logic question, but let's break it down:
9 Friends, each one has to have bread, apples, and meatballs.
Ordering 3 plates of bread gives you: 9 pieces of bread, 12 apples, and 15 meatballs.
