Do you cook with capers? what sort of dishes do you make with them? I use them in a butter and tomato sauce to serve over fish. We like them quite well, but I do not know of other ways of cooking with them.

The only thing I have ever had capers in is a marinara sauce. It was green and black olives, and capers. It is really good. I think it was a Barilla one.

oh, it sounds good. I will have to remember to check their website to see if they have a recipe section.

I have not used capers for anything, but my eldest son, who likes to cook was telling me he loved capers, and liked to use them. I want to find some ways to use them in recipes to surprise him the next time he comes home.

The only time I eat them is in a Mediterranean Salsa that my husband makes. It's tomatoes, olives, capers, basil, olive oil, vinegar and salt. Delish! You can eat this with chips or as a garnish on top of meat. We usually use it on top of grilled chicken, but you could put it on anything. Beyond that, I had never had a whole lot of contact with them.
