What type do you prefer when it comes to a movie? I like to watch a variety of movies but I do tend to lean towards a comedy or horror movie. It kind of depends on my mood though. Oh..I musn't forget westerns! I never really liked those until I watched Tombstone. Now I give those a shot as well. Which ones do you lean towards and which ones do you just not watch?

I won't say that I am a great movie buff, but since a few months, there hadn't passed a day when I didn't watch a movie. I like all kinds of movies and love to watch them, as they act as a god stress buster for me. I am great fan of animated movies and so tend to watch more of that, and also the comedies. A laugh is a pretty good way to shed some stress and enjoy a while. When I am at hostel, sometimes I even go up to watching 3-4 movies a day. Take Care God Bless YOU

My vote will always go to comedy. I love to laugh and make others smile. Comedy takes us into a new world where we just forget everything and keep enjoying the laughter and more laughter..........!! And I believe, that the laughter is the best medicine. Some of the comedy moview are so superb that you can watch them time and again. I do not profer seeing a horror movie.

Hello my friend! Yes, a good comedy can make us feel better. Laughing is good medicine. I love to watch one where something happens and I can't stop laughing. I don't get that very often but I love it when I do. Thanks for the response and take care.

I love the good horror movies, I also love to read anything by Stephen King or Dean Koontz, the books are so much better but the movies are great also.. I don't really care for all of the blood, guts and gore, I have enough of an imagination to know when someone is killed, stabbed or murdered in some horrendous way without anyone showing me all of the gory details.. So, for me it is horror stories without all of the blood..

I own the book but my husbands nurse at the doctors office is reading it now, I am going to read it after she gets through with it and gives it back.. I am reading The Bachman Books now, it is 4 stories that Stephen King wrote under the name of Richard Bachman when he was just getting started.. I have read The LOng Walk, and Thinnner, both of those were early King novels.. Both were really good..

I liked Thinner too. I have read ALOT of Stephen King books. I liked IT alot. It was slow starting out but his books often are. I was disapointed with the movie after the book. I'm only on the second story right now of Everything's Eventual. The first one was different to say the least.lol.

I can stand a little blood but when it comes to seeing the actual place it comes from...no thanks...lol. Thanks for responding and take care.

Hi there! It depends on my mood. But if I have too much stress at work, and too much stress at home, taking care of my twin daughters, following up on their home works, tutoring them for advance lessons, cooking lunch and dinner, whew! The list is endless. Then, it will help me to watch comedy films like white chicks. That movie never ceases to amaze me. It's a therapy, actually! Romantic comedy is worth watching as well. Animated films can be watched with my twins. Horror movies is a no-no when the kids are with me... but we do watch Ghost Whisperer! LOL!

I like to watch a variety of films depending on my mood or who is with me. As a family we all enjoy the James Bond films. It makes a nice change sometimes to watch the PG ones for the children or over Christmas. I quite like scarey ones in the comfort of my own home and the more unlifelike (or rather unlikemylifelike) the better - like sci fi or in the deep woods - so that I can still sleep when I go to bed and don't have to leave the light on! My husband does not like these though so I have to choose something else if I want him to stay in the room.

Hi there JenInTN! I like watching a variety of movies. It all depends on several things like my mood, the reviews I read about the movie, and who are the actors and actresses. My boyfriend and I love comedy movies most of the time and so that's what we watch together. On my own though, I tend to watch drama and also suspense or horror films.

I'm not much for horror movies. I like Science Fiction, comedy, romance, drama, musical, biography, animated, pretty much anything that has a plot. If the story is stupid, you lose me...

It depends on the mood. Sometimes, it is more along the lines of docu-drama or something to that extent. Usually, we are just seeking out something we have not seen, and if it is original, even more of a plus.

I'm like you in that aspect. I like a unique movie that keeps me on my toes. I think it's hard sometimes to find that because they've made a movie about almost everything. Thanks for your response.

I watch horror movies myself. Real good ones that get all creepy and suspensful. I guess I just like the rust that they give me. Or maybe the crazy story line on the what if? And I say to myself, yeah, that would be messed up if that happened. But horror movies are safe, not real. Next, a good comedy is always good to take my mind off of things and relax. Actions do the same thing for me.

I love fantasy movies! They are the best! Too bad they are so few... I like those like Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean and others like that. Also except those, I watch comedy movies mostly. Any movies that make me laugh are great :) I used to like horror movies, too, but not anymore... and the drama type is just too common and boring, I only watch them when there's nothing else on tv. I can't stand old movies or french ones and those japanese ones that only have fights on them and no storyline at all.
