family meeting

my husband and his family are having a family meeting now. they wanted us in-laws to join but we felt that it is best that they discuss important matters amongst themselves first and just share them to us. i am waiting for my husband now because they were there almost two hours already and it is getting late...my husband has to wake up early because of his work. oh well, i do hope they can settle everything immediately and find solutions to the problems laid out. how about you? do you also have family meetings like these? how do they often turn out? take care all and God bless you!

We usually only have them when someone passes away. We are like you and respect the family that is having the meeting to limiting it just the birth rights and not the in laws. I didnt feel comfortable going with my husband to him and like you we the inlaws all agreed that it was best if we stayed home and let them greive and figure things out among themselves. I think it turns out much better that way, and even better when no fingers can be pointed at me...LOL I hope all things turn up good for your family.
