Indian cricket team has good balance of youth & experience. The best part of this team is that they have horses for courses.( separate teams for tests, Odi's & twenty twenty). This ensures that key players get sufficient rest & the replacemnet already has some international exposure.
The strongest aspect of this team is the mental strenght because they believe in their abilities. Credit of this should go to saurav & Dhoni.
The team also has the best opening pair & a very handy seam attack. If there is one weakness in the team , it is the lack of Quality allrounders.
I don't see allrounders of the calibre of Kapil, madanlal, roger binny, Ravi shastry & Manoj Prabhakar any more in Team India.

Hello sir, Good Morning. What u have told is correct. But now there are a few emerging all rounders in India like Irfan Pathan and Yuvraj Singh, and also not to forget Harbhajan Singh. If they try and practice hard, certainly they will emerge as good all rounders. Dhoni is being compared with Adam Gilchrist. That's a good sign of the Indian cricket team. Hearty congradulations to the Indian cricket team for winning the first ODI against Srilanka and All the Best to the team for rest of the matches.

The present young Indian cricket team is will to learn from their mistakes and fiercely determined. They mean business . They are meant to deliver and that's what they are doing. Bravo Indian team. Jai hind.

The current Indian Cricket team is a good one, full of youth energy. But I think it should include experienced players as well.
The tour as a captain for M.S. Dhoni looks to be very sweet till now, but I don't see him as a very good captain. He has been very lucky till date and needs to maintain for long what ever he has done till now, to convince people and me that he is a good skipper.

as for the indian team,it is at one of its best phases,batsmen scoring runs consistently and bowlers threating the opposition . as for the captain,he is leading the life of cindrella.had to see for another year to see if he is a able captain or not

After Kapil Dev's world cup winning team, current Indian team is best in team in Indian Cricket history.
Dhoni is good captain, after world cup lost & Ganguly and Dravid tried their best as captain but Dhoni made difference.
T20 world cup is proof of his good captaincy.
