you remember mylot friends by their name or their display picture?

Hi Rizzu, Well, I've only been a member here for 4 days, so I cannot tell you about MyLot. But I've been in forums a lot and have to say: after a while hangin' around with people, I don't need the pictures or even there name for that matter. When you get to know your fellow posters, you'll regognise them by the way they write things down. Even on differnt messageboards, I've been finding them, even when they had changed their names. But in the first place, the pictures stay with me. Second it will be screennames.

I remember the pictue and the name. Some of my friends here have been friends on other sites for a long time. I correspond with them on a egular basis. Others are new friends and I try to remember both the name and picture.

Many times at first, it often is their display picture, but then it becomes because of their name. I have a lot of friends here in myLot that I know them by name and even if they switch up their display picture all the time just their name brings me wanting to respond back to them. But also what tends to help me not miss out on so many discussions my friends start in here, is the Friends Started tab as well.

I tend to remember the pictures more. There are just too many names for me to remember and some of them even look the same sometimes! The only ones I remember the names of are names that hold a memory of my life somehow. If a friend changes their picture, most of the time I would have to go see some of their discussions to remember who they are, just like you!

Oh yeah! And I think it's alot better if friends can keep their same picture for as long as possible, that way wedon't get confused!

Display picture mostly, some nicknames are too complicated with numbers and stuff to remember anyway :P

i think i can say both. then i will be greating them in my response if they change their avatar. specially the long time friends. i already know their username and their avatar. i also have a firend here who changes avatar every month. so i can say that i remember their username and their avatar as well

Most I know by names, a few others by their picture. Sometimes I visit my friends profiles to see what discussions they have posted.

Hi rizzu 87, i usually remember most people by their pic rather than their profile names. now that i am here for few months and i have been getting replies from some persons regularly on my post and i have been trying to response to their discussions so i remember their names too but still it is pic which gets recognized first.
