Not a week you will want to repeat any time soon. I am so sorry to hear of all your losses, and sorry for your wife's painful loss. I lost my mother to cancer, and she went quickly. I know how hard being motherless can be, no matter how old a woman is when her mother passes away. You wife will need your encouragement, but she will also need to know and be around older women who can show her that part of life and perspective, now that her own mother is not there to show her and advise her. My prayers are with you both, and your family.

You are welcome. It's been 5 years since my mother passed away, and I am still looking for that older woman in my life, one who will give me good council, one who knows what it feels like to enter this part of my life, and one who can be a spiritual mother too. If your bride has no one like this in her life, no sisters of her mother who are close, no friends of that age, it is something I do believe she will be longing for, even if she isn't aware of it right away.
God's comfort to you both as you do what you must do later today.

Although I know its too late I will still want to share my condolences. I admire your strength. I know that life has to move on after every storm.
