I have so many songs that are my favorite, it would take a while for me to name them. A couple that I can think of is "Just A Dream" and "All-American Girl" by Carrie Underwood. I also like the singers, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, etc. These are all great names. I know there are several others I like, quite a few are old, and others are new. It's a wide arrangement of singers.

hello CRSunrise. well, one of my favorite songs is "Who am I?" by Casting Crowns- the words of that song ministers to my heart. It just reminds me who God is in my life. Some other singers that I admire and like are Chris Tomlin, Israel Houghton, and the groups Mercyme and Newsboys.^_^

What genre of music are your singers? I don't think I've ever heard of them before. Since I usually listen to country music, I probably haven't listened to any of their stuff. Would it be something I'd probably listen to?

I think Loretta Lynn is what really got me into country music. I would listen to her on my CD player on my way to and from school when I was in school. I would drown out all of the noise and just enjoy the songs. Sometimes I'd have the songs memorized. Although, I haven't heard the songs in a while. My favorite of hers is "Coal Miner's Daughter," "Fist City," and "The Pill."

I have been listening to a lot of sappy love songs lately. A lot of secondhand serenade and country love songs :) Reba, Garth, Alabama, John Micheal Montgomery, Rascal Flatts...etc. I have been in such a sappy love struck mood and they really seem to fit!

I love those singers also. Those are a lot of the older singers. They were around to help build country music the way it is today. Country music might be a whole lot different if these singers hadn't been around. Of course, there's no way of saying what things would be like if people like Reba McEntire and Garth Brooks never appeared on the music scene. The only way we'd know is if there was a such thing as a parallel universe that was possible to visit.
