why do you use Google Earth?

hi all! google earth is one of the coolest software developed for use. with google earth, you can view planet earth in all its entirety in outer space, and you can even zoom in to the last few hundred metres to see your house, a road, or any landmark that you might fancy. because of all of its potential (and because they have a free version), many people have different reasons why they install and use Google Earth. some use it as a recreational tool (for fun). some use it for research. and there are some unique uses for it as well. in my case, i love using google earth because i use it as a "better street map" when planning to go to an unfamiliar place via driving. i easily get freaked out when i get lost, so i prepare in advance before i start driving. with google earth, i can map out the roads that i'm going to take and even calculate the distance and hence, plan my fuel expenses. =) google earth also helps quench my curiosity by helping me measure how far a place is from my house (such as my office, my hometown in Cebu, my house in Cavite, my favourite hangout in Makati City, etc.) how about you guys? why do you use Google Earth? thanks and happy mylotting!
