I recently had an issue with my coffeepot. I got a lot of great suggestions that will help me resolve the grounds in my drip coffee maker. I've had a lot of problems that the people on myLot have helped me solve. I've posted some personal problems, too, that the wisdom of all you people have helped me resolve or feel better about. What kinds of problems have the people of myLot helped you solve? I'm really interested in knowing, because we all have so many problems that people in our "real" lives can't help us with but our virtual friends jump in and help us. I wish I'd known about myLot when I was married. I may not be divorced now. How about you? Has myLot made a difference in your life?

I enjoy mylot advice a great deal. I have asked about crochet and wedding stuff, and have gotten all sorts of advice and opinions! The people here for the most part are generous and very easygoing, great advice people, and well just great people in general!

I know I've also gotten so much advice that when my fiance and I are ready to move out, I don't think I'll have any trouble making the home and budget as frugal as possible!

It is not even a month that I stepped here at mylot and found my long cherished place. Money that we get here is nothing if we compare the sharing of knowledge through discussions. I have found some really good friends. They are candid, helpful, resourceful and really knowledgeable. So far I have gained a lot. If earlier I had to think before I wrote anything but now feel quite at home with this skill. Wonderful site and wonderful friends.

They are a wonderful resource. I get alot of support from them also. I can vent my feelings without having them judge too harshly. It is nice to have someone to talk to that is not involved in the situations.

That's very true, it's a great place to vent. Since people here aren't close to us, they can call bullsh*t if we're full of it besides comforting us with their encouragement and prayers. And they know so much!!

I have to say dragon, often when I post a discussion in MyLot, the subject is that of hoping to find some resolve to usually problems or questions about my dog. I have been relieved to say the least at responses that I have received in doing so. MyLot members are a fantastic bunch. I love what others have to say but appreciate so much when others take the time to share their perspective, their expertise or even just knowledge on a subject that I may be wondering about. I always consider MyLot when a pressing question presents itself. It never fails to provide me with sensible information by way of other MyLot members response.

I've never asked for advice here on myLot about anything truly personal as I don't find it easy to ask for help in such matters, even when noone here knows my 'real' identity. However, I've had loads of really great advice here on some more practical matters. Most recently it was when I asked for advice about vegan cookery. I had lots of responses which were really helpful, with some delicious ideas to try. In fact, I think it's in the area of the kitchen where I've had the best advice all round from other myLotters. I really appreciate the multinational aspect of myLot in this respect. It's great to broaden my perspective in the kitchen. I'm always thrilled and surprised that myLotters are willing to go to such allot of bother to search out information for others. I reckon that you could find information about just about anything if you used the search function and took the time to read through past discussions.

That's one of the best things about this place, isn't it? People helping each other out with information or sympathy, offering an ear to bend and a shoulder to cry one, laughing with each other and entertaining everyone. I really like this place.

I think that there are alot of things on this site that have helped me, to either save money or things to try as well as ways to try to save money.I find that this site is always rather busy with lots of people posting lots of different things that are always very interesting. If you have a question then this is the best site to ask for an answer.
