Is men's body stronger than Women's body by nature?

I saw some of the old aged couples. Women are getting started to weak at their 50s. At the same time men are getting started to weak at their 65-70s only.
Is this weak body by nature or totally depending on an individual?

..well, according to studies, males have a greater tendency to endure pains and become strong.. Considering their physical make-up and strength, they are really stronger than women..
