That's terrible dong. I'm afraid it will become very expensive in February. I heard in the news this evening, it's already 800 plus. My gas will run out next month, too. I will already use my paper charcoals for cooking. You might try that also dong. Just collect all your used papers and make charcoals out of it. It will lessen your gas consumption and lessen garbage problem, too. First, soak your papers overnight in water. Put salt in it. In the morning when the papers are all soaked wet and soft, make balls out of it. Let dry under the sun for three to four days. That's it, you'vr got paper charcoals for cooking. I hope this helps.

Last day while watching in the television, i see in the news that in the Philippines Metro Manila the LPG is out in the market and many Filipino having a problem regarding this. As i know now a days the price of oil in the other country is really high that's why the price of the goods here in our country became also high because the transfortation affects the need of oil that's why when the oil became high the good also became high like the oil. But here in our Province Mariveles, Bataan there is no need for us to buy LPG because we always use a coal and branch of tree for cooking because here in our place we are near in nature that's why there is no need for us to buy LPG. and here in our location we do not encounter a LPG loss of stock. . . Well that's the end of my response to this forum topic entitled "LPG out of stock in the metro..." Thank you very much... Happy posting and happy earning. . . Mabuhay! i hope here our country we resolve the problem here in LPG out of stock in the metro Manila. . . Have a nice day, that's all. . . By the way i hope our government will cooperate to resolve our prnblem like this in the Philippines. . .

Not just in the metro it's also out of stock here in Rizal, good thing we were able to get one, before it was out of stock. Probably because of the changing prices in the market. Were you able to get your LPG yet? You can probably use a stove where in you could just use the regular gas that can be bought in a local store or something. Hope you got your LPG already though.

This is really one of the problems of our country now and I do believe that there really is a shortage on the supply since i was a former employee of one of the distribution company here. BUt for the distributors it was one of the usual seasons as we call it cause usually during the holidays and much more after the christmas holidays the supply was always small and the delivery was not that fast. It was because most countries that has snow has a big demand of this product but i guess it will not take too long to solve it since the winter was over and the shipments were soon be coming.

I agree with you. without LPG, how can we cook here in the city. I have two tanks and i try to always have them replaced whenever one is used up but since December, it is very difficult to find available LPG. I guess this is another manifestation of the financial crisis or they are hoarding it until the demand is so high that they can charge ridiculous high prices. i wonder what Sec. Angie Reyes is doing. His attention was called to the disappearing supply way back in December and he assured the public there waS no shortage. Either he is in cahoots with the hoarders or he is just plain gullible.

We are facing the problem for more than 3 weeks. The agency is telling that you have to wait another 2 weeks. Dont know the solution for this.

yes that happens to me two weeks ago that i can not avail any LPG. i spend the whole afternoon calling on delivery to see if there is already. i started calling in the morning and end up having a tank late afternoon. glad that my nephews bottles are that plenty that it is enough to last the whole day. the bottles needs to be sterile and of course i need teh LPG for that. we dont have an electricity operated bottle sterilizer. so now that LPG is not easy to avail or to find.... specially when you need it the most i will suggest to you to avail this http://www.venta5shop.com/pinovations/pv06_qbstove.html. i will buy also this that i will use incase of emergency. i have four children and LPG is very important for the cooking of their food. it is easy to use this for i saw it how on tv.

This is another kind of holding strategy of many Chinese businessman. Although not all businessman are Chinese but mostly the one who always do this are Chinese. They keep the item and release it after a days that the price is higher than the usual. Not only LPG but they are also hording our rice supply. The price of this commodities is now higher.

We have also experience the same. I think it is a week ago, when we ran out of LPG and we can't really buy from the merchandise where we usually purchase our brand. Some of my office mates informed me that they are hoarding it. We experienced almost 3 days of no gas. My father even mock the owner of the store about the reservation he made when my father saw that there is a delivery but they did not bring us some. After they heard words from my father, 30 minutes later, here comes our LPG. Sometimes you just have to torture them.

My neighbors also suffered the same. I'm glad we have spare tank which is still filled with M-Gas we bought even before Christmas. So when my gas went out I had that reserved gas to keep me cooking without any problem. But when my husband tried to fill the empty tank,he was unable to get supplied. So he brought the tank back to our house still empty. Just last week though, last 2 weeks though he finally got it filled at the price of P560. Well, if and when he could not have it filled, I am not really worried because we have electric stove as substitute.

That would also be a big problem for us if that would be happened. As of now we have still a little left for our daily cooking consumption. I hope when it would be consumed there would already ample supply...

I have not experienced having a hard time getting a new LPG because we bought ours on December 31, 2008. Probably, before this month ends, we will have to get a new one. Well, I hope that this dilemma will soon be over. My cousin-in-law told me about it but I do not want to panic. I will try calling up our supplier if they still have a stock if none, then, I should look for other suppliers as early as now because anytime this week, our lpg could get emptied.

That is disgusting how can they do that, I don't really know what to suggest but I do feel sorry for you.

I remember a few weeks back that some LPG distribution group complained that they are not receiving any LPG from the main suppliers. I saw a news report where Angelo Reyes (is he chief of energy?) berating the distribution group president on causing a panic on the shortage of LPG supply. Reyes firmly said there is no shortage while the group on the otherhand is complaining that they have not been receiving any lpg from the suppliers. Had Reyes listened to the groups complains all these shortage should have been avoided.
