Sun glare

Have you ever been driving and the sun glare was so bad that it totally blinded you?
I was on my way to the bank this morning, traveling toward the sun. The glare was so blinding I felt like I was going to run into something. The sun visor did not help at all. I was really a frightening experience.
Have you ever been faced with the glare?

Yes, I have had this to happen to me. It can be really bad when the windshield is a little foggy and the sun hits it. I can't see anything straight ahead. I can only look down to the right to see the edge of the road and hope no one suddenly pulls in front of me. This will happen at one spot in the mornings when I'm taking my children to school and I have to drive about a block facing the sun. Fortunately it is not a problem every morning.

Seems like whenever I travel in the morning, I am traveling east, toward the rising of the sun.
