Which do you prefer? I like a little bit of both. Once in a while I'll find a nice book which mixes 3/4 of the book with the police work with a nice courtroom scene in the end. I like those kinds of novels. Which do you prefer to read? And can anyone please give me good titles where I can read both? Discuss.

Well I prefer a thrilling investigation to a gripping court room scene but even that is well contested as I have read one of the best courtroom scenes in the book Audrey Rose, it was an amazing book which is mainly running on the courtroom battle involving the touchy subject of rebirth. It is really worth a read and it is what I will suggest.

John Gresham writes some good law drama books. I just finished reading a "Time to kill" Two white men rape and almost kill a ten year old black girl and her father goes on trial for shooting them The story is about the father's lawyer and his struggle to keep the father out of jail. It deals with the jury as well as the county that the trial takes place in. John Gresham write some very good lawyer books. They are gripping and interesting too. But not much police work in them.
