Which breed of dog do you think is the easiest to train? Do you think some are too hyper to train and you need a special person to take the role of training. Like a professional perhaps?

I prefer mutts. Purebreds are too high strung. I've had both, and my money goes on the mutt. They aren't nearly as picky about things, and easier to train.

They say poodles are the easiest to train.
Maybe labrador retrievers too. They're pretty playful though, so they might lose focus when you're training them. For guard dogs though, the Doberman is the most disciplined and easiest to train.
Pugs... I'm not so sure.
