Why I am not Religious? Are you? If so, why?

I personally don't believe in being religious! I believe religion is just another handy work of man just like any other work by man and it's been handed down from one generation to the other and I believe will continue to do so. I think also that religion can't bring change that we want to see in our society. I believe also that religion give us a stage where we are train to become the best pretender for the award awaiting, award from the Religious film industry aswe may say so. The tragedy is that as we become a more rounded actor on this stage, we have also become less and less of our real self. The truth is religion draw us away from reality and in the absence of reality life in the long run will just be a fake or mockery. That's why I am not Religious! What are you?

In the Anton la vey sense Satanism is the belief that we are and should be responsible for our own actions and that God and Satan are merely constructions of man's own mind. They do not exist. We are animals and should view ourselves as such. That said we should not harm others (animals included although killing for food/clothing is ok) who do us no harm and should not inflict our beliefs on others.

I'm not a religious person either but I am very spiritual...I personallly think that religion causes more personal damage and more world wide grief than anything out there..More wars, hatred, narrowmindedness, cruelty and abuse on all levels has gone on for centuries all because of religion...
