In it, Lisa gets a best friend. This friend of hers lives in her own world called Equalia and she wants Lisa to join her in this world. Well, in the end, Lisa decides not and they're no longer friends. It was an ok episode. Nothing spectacular. The Simpsons are way past their prime right now and sometimes I think the show needs to retire. I mean, some of the episodes are kind of funny, but they're not as good as they once were. Do you think the show should retire?

no i didnt get to see it. i heard it was very funny. i love watching the simpsons, but i dont get to see them all the time. most of the time their repeats and it sucks, because i want to see something new. i dont mind watching the old episodes but every now and then they get old seeing then over and over again. ya i know what you mean. i think that their runing out of funny things to put in the show. i think that its because of the show family guy. it seem like family guy is more popular then the simpsons now.

This show has been on for 20 years now and I think considering their long run, they are doing just fine and the shows are as funny as they can make them. Some of the jokes are not as funny as they used to be, but I think it is the simpsons family that makes it funny and not the jokes. There has never been and never will be a family quite like this one, so I think the show should keep going as long as it can.
The show is much more pop culture jokes than it used to be, because they have done everything else. I love satirical books or shows, and The Simpsons is a perfect outlet for satire.
