At what age did you felt an attraction towards a girl/boy?

I was almost 9 years when I first felt an attraction towards a girl.Her hair was the root cause of it .She was a year older than me . After that I virtually fell in love of one of my cousins. I was 10 years at that time . But none of these stories fructified.
When did you felt such a attraction with any girl/boy?

I was going on 12. The boy was 11. I asked him to be my boyfriend on a sheet of paper written in crayon. After that, how embarrasssing, I was so shy, I never talked to him. We just passed notes back and forth. Then one day he broke my little heart and returned all my notes and broke up with me in a note of his own. How sad.
