Mistaken for another race?

I'm Chinese, but I don't look like your stereotypical Asian girl. So far, people have mistaken me for: Mexican, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, and Aboriginal. There was this First Nations girl in my high school, but nobody would've guessed. People kept thinking that she was white. Have you ever been mistaken for another race?

One of my mom's friends. I don't think she's been in the country for long.

I'm 100% Korean & I've been mistaken for: Mexican, Hawaiian, Indian, Japanese, Chinese & few others... Nobody seems to think I'm Korean... I went to Korea for my brother's wedding & I stayed there for about 2 weeks... One day, I walked into a corner store & asked the man sitting behind the register how much something was... He looked at me with this suprised look on his face & says, "You Korean?" People in my own country don't think I'm Korean, lol... In high school, some of the Korean kids used to talk about me behind my back, nothing bad just talking about what I might be, I would turn around & told them, "You could just ask me...!!!" in Korean... Expression on their faces were priceless...
