What are some characteristics that people look for when voting for a leader? i would like to know what people are looking for in general, other than just plain leadership. what would you look for in leader/ person for a leadership position?

Someone with a good heart. Someone who loves God. I think we can never go wrong with a leader who truly know and fear God.

Leadeship is all about influence. To become an effective leader on must possess the charm, the wit, the intelligence and the grace under fire. but most of all it must be someone who believes is steadfast in times of troubles.
